The Hero Hercules
• Most popular and famous of Greek






hero 's.
Often called defender of earth.
He did not seek glory, fame, or power. He performs labors because it is a divine command.
Born of Zeus and a mortal woman named Hera.
Fathered three sons.



Where ever he went he made the land a safer place for people to live. •

The labors of Hercules indicate he probably existed in a femaledominated society.

The Villain ( Eurystheus)






King of Tiryns
Communicated with Hercules through his servants
Very literal and strict with his commands
Abused his Authority
He also feared that Hercules would become a threat to his power Other Archetypes

Hades God of death
His wife the princess
All creatures and monsters he had to face while completing the commands given by Eurystheus such as
Cerberus, Hydra, and etc…

Had many other adventures which he proved his heroic statis
