A Memorable Experience
A Memorable Experience
Nima Nazahah bt. Suimi I have never really thought about my so-called memorable experience in life, I guess to me it is quite a small matter to remember the past as there are a lot of things that need to be done now and also in the future. This essay got me thinking of all the memorable experiences everyday, even babies make memorable experiences for their parents, for example, the first time they talk or the first time they crawl. I want to be able to make those kinds of memorable experiences even when I am 70 and olds. As you can see, I am not talking about my own memorable experience but I am talking about memorable experiences in general. A memorable experience is not only talking about huge things like travelling the world, scuba-diving with a shark or going to Egypt to see the pyramids. It can also be the small events like the first time you rode your bike or the first time you read, usually we will not remember all these small incidences as they are very common, but to me, small experiences do matter. We feel happy every single time, sometimes the small things family and friends do make you laugh and remember them forever, so it doesn’t matter if you have this really great and huge experience if you are not even happy. What I am trying to say is it is better being happy while having the experience even though it’s small one. Sometimes a memorable experience can be the eye-opening moment in your life where you can learn more about yourself. This is because usually people do not even know what they are capable of until they have done it. To me, the most memorable experiences that I have are with my family and friends. Being happy is the first on my list before doing anything else. I wish the whole point of having memorable experiences are about happiness. I guess I am just lucky to have them.

When most people think about a significant experience as something like; studying abroad, taking vacations, or meeting new people. Now while I have met many types of people and traveled quite a bit, none of these experiences have been nearly as significant to me as my childhood. I lived in a small, falling apart, purple house in the heart of Bessemer that was perfect because it is all we could afford. This house and neighborhood forced me to be resourceful and it taught me that nothing in my life is going to come without hard work. Those lessons crafted me into the industrious, diligent, and determined person that I am today.…

The most memorable time in my life was my daughter's cleft palate surgery. It was January 4th when my daughter and I had to leave El Paso, TX to take a trip to Austin, TX. It was a long drive for a little baby like her at the time she was only two years old. Early that morning my parents took us to the bus station. The bus was leaving at 6 a.m. in the morning to get to Austin, TX at midnight. My daughter and I felt it was the longest drive ever as the bus was very full and kept stopping. Finally, we arrived to Austin at midnight. I had to walk around for some time until I found a cab to take us to the hotel. I was scared and nervous. I was all alone with my daughter in a city we didn't know. We arrived to the hotel and finally felt safe and some peace. As soon as we walked in the room, I called my family and let them know we were good.…

The most memorable moment for me, is my first trip to mexico.
