A Memorable Journey
A memorable Journey
DS and my fellow student officer, assalamualaikum and very good noon. Today I am in front of you to discuss about my memorable incident from my life.

““A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.” And I love to do that. Unfamiliar territory may cause discomfort, travel expenses, being away from home/family, not being able to communicate well with the natives, with all this problems in hand, still people love to travel, spend huge amount of money for this. Because one of the principal values of travelling is that, it breaks the monotony of life and work. It widens of our knowledge of geography, different cultures and people.

Travelling is also one of my passion and hobby. I love to travel as it gives me immeasurable pleasure, happiness and mental energy. And today I will share one of my favorite travel experiences or incident that I will remember throughout my life.

I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it. Yes gentleman now I am going to share one of my travel story which is to explore an abandoned road. In my leisure time I used to search new places in the Google earth to visit. While searching I found a road laying between Chimbuk and Lama which is situated in Bandarban. It was not marked but visible in the Google earth. But I could not get any information about that road because the road is totally abandoned.
If you go some place by a car or a bus in your vacation, after going to that place your vacation will start, but if you go by a motorcycle, your vacation will start right from your door step. So me and my friend Rohit decided to explore that road by motorcycle. On the last14 Dec 7 o’clock in the morning we started our journey to explore an abandoned road.
Everything was going very smoothly, we reached bandarban at about 1135 hrs. from bandarban we headed towards nilgiri. The road of nilgiri is adventurous

One of the main reasons for its anonymity is the lack of publications detailing the area. Here in the Big Empty, however, many lonely and rather mysterious dirt roads have a come-hither attraction, if for no other reason than to see where they lead. Many of them do not require a tank or a beefy 4WD rig.…

Bruce Dawe’s texts Drifters and Last Seen 12:10am, convey different journeys that offer challenges and insights. Journeys can be defined as an act of travelling from one place to another. The physical journey evident in Drifters places emphasis on the fact that journeys can be forced. The text Last Seen 12:10am depicts that journeys can be inner struggle and offer challenges that bring uncertainty and fear. Hence it is evident that these two texts by Dawe demonstrate challenges and insights that travellers can have on a journey.…

The Redmond Social Enterprise Project Board has embarked on an important effort as it aims to help change the future of Redmond teenagers and impact the community at-large with its social mission. The creation of Red’s Express, a non-profit café and food delivery service, demonstrates the unique way that social enterprise can serve the community by helping fund Redmond youth organizations. As the business plan created by the Social Enterprise Group, LLC illustrates, this project serves community need in two ways: by filling a quick food service void in the Redmond business community; and creating a sustainable funding source for non-profit youth organizations in Redmond.…

If at all they do, it is done only for a survival. There is no immortal beauty seen in the Road. It is “Barren, silent and godless” (McCarthy, 4). More than a description of desolated wasteland, The Road is suggestive of the impact of that the careless attitude of man towards nature may bring in to this world. It is clear that there is irrevocable separation and this idea apocalyptic in The…

According to Aesop " Adventure is worthwhile", and traveling is one of the best adventures that people can experience in life. Also, by going to places that you've never been open up your mind to new things, new people, and you learn from it as much as you can. In my case, I'm fortunate to have been able to visit different cities all over the world, but only two of them have completely captivated me, San Francisco, California and Miami, Florida. Even though these two cities are located in the same country, both have many differences such as in the public transportation, food-population, and lifestyle.…

I have always had a knack for traveling. Since a young age I have found comfort in going to places I have never been. Embracing the culture and questioning why things are done a certain way and exploring the incredible world that I am surrounded by. It brings me peace just being somewhere I have never been. I think it is important to be put in situations that you might not be familiar with and learn how to adapt, how to survive on your own. It’s important to go to unfamiliar places and meet unfamiliar people.…

One thing is for certain, we only serve to gain from our travels. Two paths await you when you travel. You can leave behind all the comforts of home and set off for a sheltered location that provides all the same comforts available to you at home. Or you can take the second route. Shed your lifestyle, customs, and certainties and escape into a new world that you can fully embrace. Trust me, the second path is always more fulfilling, plus the stories you come home with will be even better than any spa retreat could ever serve up. Travel should be something you learn from as much as to enjoy. Anyone can travel, but smart travelers will approach everything with an open mind and heart that allows them to see the real beauty in the places they set out to explore. Here are some of my favorite travel quotes to get you thinking differently about the way you travel. On Why You Should Travel Experience travel, these are as education in themselves. Euripides He who does not travel does not know the value of men. Moorish Proverb Wandering re-establishes the original harmony which once existed between man and the universe. Anatole France The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. St. Augustine Motivation To Go Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds. Explore. Dream. Discover. Mark Twain Adventure is worthwhile in itself. Amelia Earhart Only those who will…

We’re on a mission to look for the places that were named after the characters of Rizal in his novels Noli Me tangere and El Filibusterismo. My groupmates and I arrived at PUP before 9am; we rode PNR to get to our starting point which is Laong Laan station. We are really excited for this fun-filled day. We are very happy when we saw the street named ‘Basilio’, we had different poses for the first set of pictures that we took there. Luckily we also found the next three streets, ‘Sisa, Ibarra and Crisostomo’ simultaneously. We took another set of pictures and then go to the next location which is ‘Tacio’, unfortunately we got lost and so we asked some bystanders there and we used the map we printed, then we were able to found ‘Tacio, Macaraig and Padre Florentino’. Then we walked again and asked for other streets and they suggested ‘Josefiina’ and so we also took pictures there. When we were about to get to our next station, we caught up with our other classmates, the BBS group and held a picture taking moment, then parted ways. It is hot already and ‘Maria Clara st. is far from our current location, so we decided to ride a tricycle. When we were able to found ‘Maria Clara st.’, we had our refreshments first and ate chips to satisfy our hunger. Then we walked again to our next destination which is ‘Simoun st.’ and walked again to ‘Elias st.’. Since SM San Lazaro is near, we decided to go there and have our lunch as well. We stayed there for awhile then agreed to go home. Even though it’s very hot, exhausting and tiring, we’re very happy because we enjoyed our last bonding before year 2012 ends and we consider it as one of our unforgettable memory. Mission Accomplished!…

St Augustine once said, "The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page." This quote suggests that each and every one of us should travel and see the outside world rather than just ours. Many people don't really see the point of travelling, and the most common excuse is it's a waste of time; money or it's scary to travel to places that are too far away. People don't recognize the importance and outlook in travelling. It's very essential to educate ourselves and know the countries around us and the different cultures and traditions. One of the principal values of travelling is that, it breaks the monotony of life and work.…
