A NARRATIVE REPORT
ON ON-THE-JOB TRAINING AT
PAG-IBIG FUND-ILIGAN, ILIGAN CITY
I, Mac Royyen Franklin L. Revelo, an Information Technology student from STI Iligan, had completed a total of Two Hundred hours of office practicum with Marketing Department in Home Development Mutual Fund also known as Pag-ibig Fund , Iligan City from January 06, 2015 to Mach 12, 2015.
On the first day of my internship, I felt a bit of nervous but I stayed calm and cool. I didn’t know anyone except my classmate who was going to start OJT with me, concentrating to my assigned work and asking questions for clarification. I gave all my best not to commit mistakes but nevertheless the following day I made an error. Good thing I asked Shelly who is also on OJT helped me whatever mistake that I did was able to be corrected. As days went by, I improved myself, eager to learn to show to them I am able, that I can handle whatever task they want me to do and to prove I can do it.
I was in the last desk so most of the time I don’t get many clients so all I did was watching who are in the same department with me Shelly, Tina, Jing, and Sam of what they are doing and how they handle different kinds of clients.
But when I was at the front at the first desk I keep getting clients I was not use to it so I was starting to get tired for getting not enough time to rest so I have no choice but to get used to it and keep telling myself that I can do it.
Assessing clients to online registration, asking them personal questions, encoding and updating or written information. In doing all this work, I keep in mind to always do my best if it’s just a small task and always do what is right.
I deal with different types of clients; mostly I enjoy dealing with them, there are few that are difficult to handle, especially the “Muslims” who can’t speak clearly. There is this one time that I, who can’t really understand what he is saying. So I gave him s Members Data Form.
