Generally, winter is the suitable season for picnic, enjoyed a picnic with my class mates at Zoo last year. My friends proposed to go on a picnic to Zoo the proposal was accepted because it would be possible to visit the zoo along with the sightseeing.
My friend Mohit as the monitor of the class took the responsibility of the picnic. I helped him from the beginning till the end.
As per our programme, we assembled in the school campus early in the morning. A bus had been booked. We loaded the utensils, firewood, groceries, two large carpets etc. on the bus. We also carried a carom board, a chess board, a tape recorder, and two cameras for this purpose. There was no question of mismanagement.
The bus reached the Zoo at about nine o'clock in the morning. It was Sunday. We all finished our breakfast which was served inside the bus.
Then the teacher who had accompanied us to the spot told us to gather at one place. We were divided into, four smaller groups. The cook and his assistant became ready to arrange the feast. Some of us also helped the cook in the preparation of food.
Some of us cut vegetables while some others played carom, chess, playing cards, etc. Some of us also went to see the zoo. My friend Samu was a very good singer. He sang a few delightful songs.
I had visited the zoo earlier for several times. So I did not like to visit it further. I assisted the cook in the preparation of food. The food was ready by 1 P.M. All the friends who had gone to see the zoo came back. They were tired. There are some friends who were enjoying their boating experience the lake. One group of students was enjoying the toy train.
The meals were served at a shady place. We played on the tape recorder to enjoy the light music. Everybody admitted that it was a delightful picnic. The mutton curry was giving off a delicious smell. We sat in a circle and the meal was served on leaf plates. We had finished our meals by 3 P.M.
After one hour of rest we prepared for the return journey. The teacher who had gone with us became highly pleased with us for the smooth management of the picnic. We realised the value of team-spirit. That pleasant experience is still afresh in my mind.

With all the confined spacing for the families, you can tell there was a lot of tension between everyone. The food they had made for us to eat was not in our culture at all. “The Caucasian servers were thinking that the fruit poured over rice would make a good desert. Among the Japanese, of course, rice is never eaten with sweet foods, only with salty or savory foods.” (pg.20) On top of the food being served wrong, their latrines were not very useable. “The smell of it spoiled what little appetite we had.” (pg.31) “My mother was a very modest person, and this was going to be agony for her, sitting down in public, among strangers.” (pg.32). What some of the other women did was drag in a big cardboard carton and put up as walls so no one could see.…

We cater many types of parties anywhere between birthdays, baby showers, business lunches, weddings, special dinners and Christmas parties. Our most common catering event would be our dinner menu option. During the time of my internship I had worked during the month of December, which is one of our top months for catering. I learned how to cook all of our most ordered entrée which was herb crusted sirloin, rosemary chicken, honey Dijon glazed Cornish hens, and smoke pork loin. Besides cooking the main entrée I learned how to put together salad and soup bars, and learned how to cook all of our sides. Also I would bake desserts, one of our best desserts would be our cheesecake or our red velvet…

Both a formal sit down dinner and an informal picnic allow an employee to socialize with coworkers without work related formalities; the only agenda being to relax and have fun. Seeing a coworker outside of one’s work environment makes them more of a person and less of a source of information relating to your job. Getting to know this person and finding areas in which you connect can create common ground that could result in a more productive working relationship. It is also an opportunity for employees to socialize outside of their normal department or with coworkers they would normally have less direct contact with.…

One of the reasons for the bad effects of zoos is a loss of real conservation. Today animals are endangering since their habitats are shrinking because of pollution, less food, and destruction of the ecosystem. Many kinds of animals were sent to zoos because of people who argued that we need to save endangered animals. However the environment of zoos is not suitable for animals and not the same as their environment. Because many animals in the zoos are separated from their families and friends and they live in new groups which are made by raisers who treat animals. These unnatural social groups sometimes lead to fighting’s which lead to injury and loneliness. Also the creatures are always fed by feeders so their natural hunting instincts decrease.…
