1. ABSTRACT
Life is an adventure. We live in its events. Some events are hilarious, while the other events are bad. Each person should pass with different level in education, starting from primary following by intermediate and complete it with secondary school. After that a new chapter of life starts which is college life. In this chapter students perhaps study abroad or home country studies. In this stage students definitely will see different change in their surroundings. In this report I will go throughout my life experience . For me, I anticipated tough changes in the college life and sure enough there were tough changes.

2. INTRODUCTION This report will explain the difference between my experience in high school and college life. College life is challenging for new students after they graduate from high school. For me, it is challenging, and I have to deal with the change in the new environment and school life as a whole. 2. 1BACKGROUND My name is Mohammed Abdulelah Mohammed Makki ,my friends call me MAKKI. I am 21 years old, and I was born in 24/6/1992. My favourite subjects is Mathematics , Physics and Chemistry. I joined elementary school when I was 4 years old. Then, I study in Al-Amal National School as secondary school . After that I graduated with a good score. My family decided to send me to study abroad in Malaysia for higher education. I enrolled at Inti College in Jan 2013 to continue my studies. 2.2 High School Experience During school life you would learn the basic etiquette regarding social conduct whereas for me. School experience is the most importance thing make the best point in my life and teaching skills. Teachers help us to avoid the problems of doing homework. School life is generally more disciplined than college life. You must wear a uniform otherwise if you do not wear a uniform the school will not allow you to enter to the school 2.3Current Experience As a college student study away from home, I get to make decisions by myself which I need to learn to be independent in my life. I am responsible for my growth into absolute independence. Unlike in high school there are fewer rules to help or guide my academic progress. I do not necessarily get reminders about assignment deadlines or preparation for tests and exams. I also have to make financial decisions. I have to prioritize my needs and decide what to spend on. This new life away from home has made me a bit more responsible in general. 3. Discussion 3.1comparison between two experience Attendance College school 's attendance is counted as credit hour which will make me relax a bit. The lecturers are less care than teachers in school, although a lot of lecturers offer extra credit or will bump grades from Business school to As for students who attended class every day. However, high school 's attendance is more strict compare to college. Medical certificate is required if I absent from school. Dress code The dress code between college school and high school is totally difference. I am bound by dress code when I am in secondary school life. I have to wear uniform to school every day. I am not allowed to attend school if I am wearing casual wear to school. On the other hand, college is not bound with dress code. Slipper and short pants are not allowed in Inti College which is actually easy to be follow. I can wear any t-shirts I like to school every day. Different timetable Timetable from high school and college is different. My high school starts on 7a.m until1p.m. The school establishes class schedule to fill up most of the times of school days. There is only half an hour of break time to rest. The timetable in high school is constant; while the timetable in college is flexible. Sometimes there is one or two hours of break time before another class start. I might take a nap or chill with friends during the long break time.

3.2 My Expectation Level My expectations about college were built on the numerous stories by my high school teachers. My experience as a college student in Malaysia so far, has only just surpassed my expectations. The difference lies in the new environment (Malaysia). Since this is my first time here, I’ve had to deal with a culture shock which I expect to get over in the nearest future. However, the school system is everything I expected. The timetable, dress code, workload and teaching system are exactly all that my teachers have talked about all through high school. That is not to say that I’m finding it easy as college student, as hearing about an experience is quite different from actually experiencing it. That said, I intend to make things a lot easier for myself with proper planning and organization. With more self-discipline, I expect to get myself to class and attend all lectures, since there’s no mum or dad, to make me do it now. That also applies to meeting the deadlines for assignments and projects, and being more responsible in the way I spend my time and money. I expect to expand my network of friends and potential business acquaintances meet more people from different cultures and backgrounds. My greatest expectation of all, is to complete my studies, earn my degree and move ahead to start my dream career.

4. Conclusion In conclusion, my experience as a college student has been life changing. I have learned to be independent and responsible for my general well-being and academic progress. I have adjusted to the social and cultural differences. I have also warmed up to the new academic schedule which is quite different from what was used in high school. I have made new friends from diverse cultures and backgrounds which has enlightened me and helped me to expand my view in the world. I have learned to cope with the new workload which is more than workload in high school. My experience so far as a college student has increased my level of maturity as an adult.
