Dhoom 3
Director: Vijay Krishna Acharya
Starring: Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Uday Chopra, Tebrett Bethell, Jackie Shroff
Written By: Vijay Krishna Acharya and Aditya Chopra
Genre: Action, Drama
Length: 172 Minutes

Contradictory to the previous installments to the Dhoom series, Dhoom 3 is sloppily scripted action in motion sequel to the action franchisee. Though it was sensationalized to be a Fast and Furious type thriller featuring fast bikes, hot women and most significantly the good looking-bad villain, but just couldn’t push enough to give that adrenaline rush. Saahir (Aamir Khan) is a talented magician who runs an Indian circus in Chicago, once run by his magician father Iqbal Haroon Khan (Jackie Shroff), also using his unique skills to routinely rob a bank that he holds responsible for his father's suicide many years ago. He must stay out of the reach of surly cop Jai Dikshit (Abhishek Bachchan) and his motor-mouth sidekick Ali (Uday Chopra), who have been dispatched to the Windy City of Chicago to crack the case. Resting to the belief about the two cracking the case to everyone’s delight, they are fancied with the best forces the Bank’s Chief Anderson (Andrew Bicknell) and the Chicago Police can offer. Here they meet Jai’s apprentice Victoria (Tabrett Bethell), who becomes their partner in crime and their swift support to resolve the case. The very typical Ali falls for the girl lke he does for every girl he meets and scenes are somewhat directed to be comic, but fails big time. Amidst everything going hazy, enters Aaliya (Katrina Kaif) shown desperate enough to be considered in Saahir’s troupe. She dances, sings, performs arial gymnastics, but acts. Despite being the lead actress as presented by the promotions, Katrina’s character has a very little to do in the story as most of the spaces she is seen is only utilized as dummy for navigating the story further. Aside from some genuinely cool

As Eddie is coming off of the drug he wants more and goes to get more from Vernon but discovers that he has been shot dead in his apartment. It’s been eleven years since we last saw the gang in Toy Story 2 and things are a bit different now. Weezy and Bo Peep, as well as others, are gone. They have fallen victim to damage, yard sales, garbage bags, donations, and simply being misplaced. There is a melancholy feeling in the air between Woody and the rest of the gang as the film opens. Andy is now 17 years old and is preparing to depart to college. Each toy is well aware as they watch him pack, that their futures will come down to either living in the attic, become donated, or thrown away. As Andy looks over all of his old toys, he decides to put them in a garbage bag and keep them in the attic. He however, decides to take Woody, his oldest friend, to school with him. However, things go awry when the toys are accidentally taken to the curb to be thrown out. Thinking that they have been abandoned, they decide to stowaway in a donation box headed to Sunnyside Daycare. At first it seems like a dream come true for a toy. A place where children come and play with toys everyday. But it is soon discovered that Sunnyside is not the Marxist Utopia that it appears to be. A lack of ownership means that the children do not take care of the toys, leaving them to be played with in brutish manner. The once thought friendly leader of Sunnyside, Lotso, turns out to be a ruthless dictator. Soon, Sunnyside becomes a prison for the gang, and it is up to them to find a way out. Where the first two Toy Story installments served as rescue movies, with characters nobly putting themselves in danger to save their friends from harm, this one instead follows the jailbreak genre.…
