Introduction
Computer animation is a process used for generating animated images (moving images) by using computer graphics. Animation is the rapid display of a sequence of images of 2-D artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movement. It is an optical illusion of motion due to the phenomenon of persistence of vision, and can be created and demonstrated in a number of ways. The most common method of presenting animation is as a motion picture or video.

A study on animation knowledge of the lower six students at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kubur Panjang was held on 9th September 2011. I choose to do a research about animation because it has become a hot topic or significance to all students. In my opinion, animation is the most interesting topic that I have studied. In order to make sure my research about animation is perfect, I have done a survey to 20 lower six students at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kubur Panjang by asking them 10 questions each. The survey questions were distributed to both genders. The main objective that I do this survey is to know their knowledge level on animation. The results of the study are presented in the form of pie charts.

The first pie chart shows that 90% of the lower six students in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kubur Panjang (SMKKP) have the knowledge and know about animation. Only 10% of them do not know about animation. Out of the 90% of students that have the knowledge about animation, 60% of them know about animation since they were 11 to 12 years old, 25% of them know about animation since their age of 13 to 15 years old. Only 10% know about animation when their ages reach 16 to 18 years old. It is clearly shown in the second pie chart.

The percentage of the lower six students in SMKKP who knows about the types of animation is shown

In this analysis paper, I will be looking at the animated Warner Brothers short “Duck Amuck” by Chuck Jones. Jones was a well known and admired animator, producer, storyboard writer, and director for Warner Brothers Cartoon Studios, most remembered for his work with Loony Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts. Not only this, but Jones is also recognized as the animator that developed Bugs Bunny’s personality and the personalities of many other beloved characters and made them the celebrated animated legends they are today. He also introduced the use of color smudging - a technique very useful in animating motion - while experimenting with different techniques applicable to animation. However, in “Duck Amuck”, he works more with concepts than techniques.…

However, the fact that almost all children like graphic novels or comics makes it easier to integrate this method into a lesson. They often associate graphic novels with fun and modern school students’ interest in graphic novels shows great results in their learning process.
