SYNOPSIS
In the world, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have been accepted as the heart beat of economic growth and for promoting equitable enhancement of work life of the employees. MSMEs constitute over 95% of total enterprises in most of the economies and are praised with generating the highest rates of job opportunities and account for a prolonged share of industrial productivity and exports. Human Being is an Indigenous worker. Quality of work life(QWF) is very large in expanse and scope including proper anteriority between ‘Works’ (Quality & Career) on one component and ‘life’ (pleasance, freeness, religious enhancement) on the other component. As the work culture changes drastically in the recent years, the traditional concept of work to fulfill humans’ basic needs are also phasing out. The main importance of QWF is an issue considered by the managers and behavioral science cognoscente’s. They believe that a right excogitation of work life quality is an instrument to develop the performance and the better productivity. Hence the researcher proposed to study Quality of Work Life among employees in MSMEs with reference to Trichy and Tanjore Districts.
OBJECTIVES 1. To Study the profile of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Trichy and Tanjore Districts. 2. To Study the contribution of demographic variables influencing the Quality of Work Life. 3. To Study the process of well being measures of MSMEs Employees with respect to the Quality of Work Life. 4. To analyze the methods involved to motivate employees to participate in Decision Making with respect to the MSME’s employees. 5. To develop a fusion framework to improve the Quality of work life in MSMEs at Trichy and Tanjore Districts. 6. To study the role of government organizations support for the Quality of Work life in MSMEs Workers.
