The main stream media is very influential on how the public views events; therefore they have a moral obligation to report unbiased news.

In regards to compelling arguments I will use specific events that swayed that no doubt swayed the opinions of the public. The Waco Seige was an event where certain information was released to the public about the Branch Davidians that was not factual or distorted to raise ratings. The abuse of the government agencies giving one-sided accounts of the events that unfolded in Waco. The second event I would like to focus on is the Terri Schiavo case. Even though this is not a current event its one of many that literally altered the bi-laws and guidelines that would change the outcome of human life based on public majority opinions.
