灵枢.一日分为四时:顺天之时,而病可与期。顺者为工,逆者为麤。
[If it is treated] according to the proper correspondence [between the time and the affected organs], the disease can be cured. [Those who treat disease] according to this proper correspondence are excellent doctors while [those who treat disease] in contravention to this correspondence are unskillful doctors.

灵枢.九针十二原:凡用针者,虚则实之,满则泄之,宛陈则除之。
The general rule of acupuncture is [to use] reinforcing [techniques to deal with] Xu (Deficiency or Asthenia), [to use] reducing [techniques to deal with] Man (Excess or Sthenia), [to use] removing [techniques to deal with] stagnation [of Qi and blood], [to use] attacking [techniques to deal with] predominance of Xie (Evil).

素问.至真要大论:气有多少,病有盛衰,治有缓急,方有大小。
Qi is either more or less; disease is either serious or light; treatment is either drastic or mild; and prescription (formula) is either large or small. (following is tonify stomach and expel wind-cold, 2 different formula)
