If you have an install where items are moved around without being disconnected, using highly flexible cable is necessary. Cables in these scenarios need to be flexible to meet those demands of mobility, and also for the life of the wire so that it does not crack, break, fray or short. We had a job at a university where we moved flat panels on a track system to create different screen sizes, and for that we had to make sure the cable would meet the demand.…

First of all I would recommend that you use Raid-1 as your fault-tolerant hardware. RAID-1 is most often deployed with two disks. The disks are mirrored – providing fault tolerance. Read performance is increased while write performance will be similar to a single disk – if not less. A single disk failure can be sustained without data loss. RAID-1 is often used when fault tolerance is key and there isn’t an exceptional space or performance requirement.…

A private network schema is a viable choice for internal IP addressing. Each office can have its own range to avoid conflicts with other locations if subnetted correctly. Assuming that all nodes and servers have only one interface, you should only need one public address per outward interface. In the diagram provided, you would only need one public IP address for the router connection to the Internet. Everything else can be addressed privately with the correct subnetting.…

Did you know that the animal population is decreasing by 0.1% each year. Therefore, it will take 573 years for all animals to die. What will we do then? Every time a species goes extinct, it has a huge impact on the ecosystem. Say a predator goes extinct. Its prey will overpopulate, which can also lead to horrible consequences. Or what if a prey goes extinct. Its predator will have find a new food source or go extinct with it. Also, in a recent survey, nine out of ten people said they would pay tax dollars to save the giant panda. One out of ten people said they would pay to save the Eurasian Hazel Dormouse. Nobody was interested in saving the Dung Beetle or Wasp. Why is this when they do so much for us. The Dung Beetle puts important…

    1. In our setting, it is important for us to work with parents/carers/guardians as this benefits the children that we care for. It may be that the child has an illness or allergy that we need to be made aware of, issues at home or school, behaviour change, additional needs etc. We would expect the parents/carers to let us know about these kind of things relating to their child so that we can provide the best care possible. If we are not kept up to date, we may miss something, eg. We are not told that a child is allergic to a certain food, and we may offer it to the child at lunch or snack time which of course would be very dangerous for them. Also, we as child minders would need to act in the same way, and let a parent/carer know of any changes/ additional needs for their child. If they have sustained an injury whilst in our care, been unwell, behaviour issues, or if their school have notified us about something that we need to pass on to the parent. Good communication is key in our workplace. To try and give parents as much information as possible, each child has their own book in which we record what they have eaten, the times their nappies were changed and what time they had a nap. We also write about the activities they did, their mood and behaviour, or if they have achieved any next steps. This is so that the parents can read about their childs day, and it is also a good record for us to keep track of their progress etc.…

I believe it is important IT governance committees are compromised of top level managers because of the competence of the personnel. You do not want just anyone on the street coming in and working in your IT department. Top level managers are usually giving their roles because they are able to lead and no their job well. Managers would be able to feel out who s suitable for the position for the IT department rather than just one person in the IT department getting someone the job just because they know them. I believe a group of top managers who agree on someone to be a integral part of the IT department would have a better chance of finding the right people for the job rather than just a regular manager.…
