Thesis statement: Bo Jackson is talented in about any area of sports. He s also one of strongest men ever known. Bo is very generous to kids that have problems or disabilities.
Bo has one of the biggest decisions of his life to make. He needs to decide what kind of career he’d like to make. He could choose either football or baseball.
Bo won the Heisman award in football and will be the number one draft pick in the NFL. But the problem is, Hugh Culverhouse of the Buccaneers wants to draft him. Bo doesn’t t like Culverhouse at all, so he tries to make Culverhouse trade him. Culverhouse won’t do it.
Culverhouse also messed up Jackson s college baseball career. He called Bo up for a physical and said it was perfectly legal under the college baseball rules. But it wasn t legal. Bo ends up being kicked off the baseball team and ruins his hopes for a top draft pick. Bo wants to do what his favorite sport is. Not what the people want him to do or what he’d make more money at. So Bo picks baseball. But his does know what baseball team and he knows it will be tough to join a team when he didn’t t play his senior year of baseball.
Bo starts to visit many baseball clubs. He eventually, visits the world champions .That team is the Kansas City Royals. Bo really enjoys the Royals and would really like to join them. The Royals would like for him to join also. They understand what happened to him his senior year of college baseball. The Royals know Bo is still good and could, use his help. So they sign him on to the team and make it known that Bo is going to play baseball.
Bo is said to be by many people the best athlete there ever was. In my mind he’s also one of the most generous people there ever was and is. He spends a lot of time with kids that have been abused before and he donates a lot of money to charities.
