Competitive information was gathered by reviewing and gathering information from internet. For each competitor or by contacting customers by phone and asking questions about prices and services offered.

• When these competitors were compared, some disadvantages are the hours of operation and the price. Also some of them do not open on the weekends.

• Utilizes the services of a specialist – only offered by one competitor.
• Gives individualized care (holds animal when it comes out of surgery)
• Offers more services (Grief support, dentistry, in-house laboratory testing, and IV infusion pump system)

Dr. I.H. Kathio and Pirzada pets clinic could be the major competitor of AHH as both of them operate in Karachi and have a vast experience in the field of animal care. Brief description about both of them is discussed as under, in order to have a more

The actual efforts that HVC intends to use to grow their business model are not clear. They want to grow, but they have not expressed a sincere interest in taking the steps required to do so. They want to grow the business 30% before they will open up a larger location, but they’re already at max capacity. They need to hire a second vet and a few more vet techs from the local college (who we know will work for low wages to stay in the area), have them cover evenings and weekend hours, and give them the new clients so the old clients can stay with the vet they’ve built the relationship with. Everyone wins.…
