Cornerstone essay

Journey Through the Course Called Cornerstone When I was first introduced to this course during the course selection, I had no idea what this class was going to be about. The term “Cornerstone” was very new to me since I have recently moved to Crean Lutheran High School from my other high school called Beckman High School. After the course selection weeks were over, it was finally the summer where I will actually get to know what Cornerstone actually is. I expect it to be boring and dull like other class, but I beg to differ my opinion now as the class is ending. In this short essay, I will tell the tale of what I journeyed through the three weeks of class in cornerstone. The first thing when I logged into moodle and put in the enrollment key, I was very confused. This was my first time taking a legit online class. I would scroll up and down the webpage, and I would read the teacher’s instruction for five times in a row. It was then I realize that the first task is to learn about my own school! When I saw this assignment, inside my mind, I groaned with displeasure. I thought I knew all about Crean despite moving in second semester. After looking around and searching the CLHS website, I found out so many interesting facts about Crean and the foundation of Crean. This was when I learned to always research and learns about where you attend or what you do. This class already started to teach me something knew since the first day of class. Crean’s theme verse for 2014 and 2015 school year was very heartwarming as well, and it was fun to learn about Crean’s Alma mater. After learning so much about Crean from first day and second day, I learned about importance about digital footprint and what it can do to my future and present. I never knew whatever I do in Internet can effect me badly. It gave me a good lesson to always be careful when I am on social network.
