Overview on assignment Contents: Safety and health is the most important issue for the employees at their work place. Most of the employees have the prerequisite of being assured of their safety and health at their workplace. Though it was first introduced in Federal system, it is now a burning question for all the job holders all over the world including the developing countries like ours. A gazette of Labor Act was published in 2006 which contains a portion on safety and health issues in Bangladesh. On this regard, the questions which are thrown at a glance are-

1. Discussion on the organizational effects of the safety and health act.
2. Explanation on the punitive actions authority can impose on an organization.
3. Description of the leading causes of safety and health accidents.
4. Explanation on- what companies can do to prevent work place violent?

1. Discussion on the organizational effects of the safety and health issue in Bangladesh. Safety and health issues have so many impacts on an organization. The organizational activities are often regulated by the conformity on the basis of safety and health issue. The mostly focused organizational effects which insist the administrative body of an organization to do the things described in the below as a coincidence of safety and health issues. Successfully managing health and safety in the workplace relies on commitment, consultation and co-operation. Everyone in the workplace needs to understand the need for Health and safety, what their role is in making the workplace safer, and how they can fulfill their responsibilities and duties.
The four booklets in this regard provide an introduction to: workplace consultation hazard management, workplace inspection and selecting a health and safety consultant workplace health and safety roles and responsibilities, training, information and records; and
