Descriptive Essay Example About a Person or Place You Admire
My Loving Wife Do you have this special person in your life that you truly love and care about? Would you go all out your way and do anything for him/ her? First off let me start off saying that I have a very special person in my life that I adore so much. We meet through mutual friend and started from there. I took her out every week end to show her how special she was to me. She really enjoyed every moment of it and had a big smile on her face all the time. She told me she has never been so happy and it has been a long time since she has felt that good and had a smile on her face. It made me feel special because I stepped in and made her happy. As we continue to date things got serious and feelings got stronger. So one day I built up the nerves to ask her to marry me and of course she said YES! She was so excited full of tears and joy and I was too. That was the happiest day of her life. She got started on the wedding plan as soon as I expected her to. She got it done and got everything done on time. September 15, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. I married this wonderful woman this was the best day of both of our lives. We were so over excited and had so much joy in us I married the woman of my dreams I could not ask for anyone better. She’s every man’s dream she cooks, clean, and just do what a woman supposed to do for her husband. I enjoy and love every moment and minute we spend together. We have our ups and down but it gets better because no one is perfect and no one will never have a perfect relationship nor marriage. Trust and honesty plays a big part in our marriage because without that you will never have anything. Trust and honesty is the key to a marriage and a relationship and I am glad that we see eye to eye on things and that brings fewer arguments. I try to go all out my way to make my wife happy and satisfy her the best way that I can and know of. If she is not happy then I am not happy. Everything she needs and wants I try to get it for her. She means the

The moon peeks out, illuminating the river and casting an alluring reflection. The car makes loud ghastly sounds while speeding over the bridge. In this passage, Jamaica Kincaid articulates upon how foreign power vastly altered the lives of Antiguans, by affirming that they have been ripped away from their families and homeland. Kincaid uses word choice which exhibits her frustration toward the Antiguans, who cheers at “some frumpy, wrinkled-up person passing by in a carriage waving at the crowd.” Kincaid juxtaposes Antiguans to orphans to further relate her feelings about the people of Antigua. To create a harsh tone consisting tragedy and misery, Kincaid uses heavy words and juxtaposition, as well as syntax. Through her word choice and literary devices Kincaid offers the readers insight on her feelings toward the Antiguan society.…
