Project Introduction:
In this project, you will perform a literature review to research 'weddings' and how they are performed in different cultures. You will report your findings in APA style.
Course Objectives Tested:
The following course objectives will be tested by this project:
• Evaluate how the self influences society and is influenced by the self.
• Analyze situations to comprehend how individuals form impressions of others.
• Explore the cognitive processes that can be used for social inference.
• Determine the attitude of an individual by analyzing the individual's response to different situations.
• Analyze the ways in which social influence shapes or alters behavior.
• Analyze the dynamics of interpersonal attraction.
• Analyze the social psychological nature of personal relationships.
• Research the ITT Tech Virtual Library to obtain information for analyzing the concepts in social psychology.
Project Description:
The project is divided into two parts:
Course Project Part 1: This part of the project focuses on researching the ITT Tech Virtual Library for articles on weddings in different cultures.
Course Project Part 2: This part of the project focuses on writing a research paper about the impressions you formed of weddings in different cultures, cognitive processes at work, and your attitude toward the events.
Project Submission Plan: The project will be submitted in two parts in weeks 5 and 11 respectively.
Project Part Description/Requirements of the Project Phase
Course Project Part 1 Tasks:
• Refer to the ITT Tech Virtual Library and search for articles on weddings in at least two cultures that are different from your own.
• Select three to five journal articles for your paper. List the articles in APA format.
• Submit the list of articles for review by the instructor.

Submit your article references in a Word document in one page.
