Everyone has a room they tend to stay in more than others. That room may be painted in your favorite color, It could have been a older sibling's room, or may have your favorite game system in it. My favorite room makes me feel as though no one can touch me while I am in there. The room is a very calming place to be when I am stressed and have a lot on my mind. Now that I am in college my room is even more special since I have to share the one I am in. Being in college even makes me appreciate it more to because I can't do some things like play my radio or the television too loud because sometimes I don't know if he is trying to sleep, on the phone, or studying. Most of all, my favorite room in my house is my bedroom because of the privacy I get, it is where I get the best sleep, and it is where my friends and I hang out when they come over.
My bedroom is someplace that when I don't want to be bothered no one bothers me. Its like my own peace of paradise that no one can reach. When I am in my room it feels like I have took a spaceship to another planet. I don't have to worry about my mother walking past the television and standing there in the way asking me questions. Also while I am in my room I don't have to worry about my little sister terrorizing me or my room, pulling things out and not putting them back or bringing all her things in my room and just leaving them all over the floor. In my room I am on my own private island of the house that is fully stocked with everything I need such as food, music and my Playstation Three. My best friend while in my room is the lock that is on my door, it keeps all unwanted people out. Even though, it is mother's house with the privacy I get in my room I can truly call it my own.
Being that I am in college when it's time to sleep the beds just don't feel the same as home. When I'm at school I feel like I'm sleeping on some stiff cardboard. My bed at home feels

There are three main divisions of archaea the Crenarchaeota, Euryarchaeota and Koracrchaeota.…

This place can be anywhere, depending on the scenery or people that inhabit it. A person's psychological home can be a quiet place to think, where they can do important things requiring much thought, or simply a place to get away from every day life where one can relax in the company of loved ones, and peace and quiet. This place could also be the exact opposite. Someone may find a place they find themselves most comfortable to be a rowdy, loud place where they can enjoy themselves with family, friends, or even complete…

The basement. It’s like the Statue of Liberty, a place of freedom. Where all the troubles I experienced that day could be completely ignored. I don’t have to worry about anything while I’m there. What do I do when I’m down in the basement? I usually play on my Xbox but there is also a ping-pong table and an air-hockey table. On the Xbox, it feels like you’re in an alternate world, like a dream. When night comes (around 9:30 PM), one of two things usually happens. I either go upstairs and go to bed because I have school the next day. If I don’t have school then I usually go back down to the there for a couple more hours before going to bed.…

My own backyard is my favorite place to visit. I say this because when I walk out my backdoor my senses come alive. I can enjoy the smells, sounds, and touch of nature. I use my backdoor as a place to escape from the real world and the tension of everyday life. It is like walking into another world. It is a place of serenity, where I can relax in my futon, forget about all my worries, and enjoy the view of my surroundings. I can take a walk, and have the pleasure of seeing different varieties of nature. There is a different picture every time I open the door.…

Yes, it would be my house, but it is not the home I grew up in. It does not have that warm feeling. As I sit bundled up in a warm, brown, comfy hoodie and a big, pink blanket, I say to myself, “Where is my favorite place to be?” Well that’s easy, it’s here in my room. My room is the one place I can be me. I can be perfectly content by myself in this room, or happily laying watching TV with my boyfriend. When sitting on my pink, candy cane, stripped bed with my lime green, fluffy to the touch blanket and hot pink, 0black pillows, I look around my room and I notice that all my walls are different yet they all tie perfectly together.…
