1. GEOGRAPHY- (greek) Earth and Writing. It is a way of communicating through maps

Always beginning with the question of spacial distribution.
2. GEOGRAPHIC PROSPECTIVE: Studies the Earth’s (1) physical systems, (2) peoples, culture, cultural landscapes, and(3) political economies. *none of these points can be studied without the other two (geographic perspective)
