Now that you have chosen your speech topic and started your research, you are ready to begin creating an outline for your speech.
Directions:
Read each step carefully and begin to fill out information you would like to include in your speech

A. Attention Getter – Grab the audience’s attention with the very first sentence
You can do this in the following ways:
Start with a strong statement that explains the seriousness of your topic
A surprising statement or amazing fact (based on your research)
A funny or scary story or interesting story

I am talking about creation vs. evolution. This controversy is about how the earth, humanity, and the life came to be. Creationism is the belief that the world was made by a supernatural being. On the other hand, evolution is the belief that the earth and humans developed from each other over the course of millions of years.

The problem is that although people believe in creationism, their not exactly sure why. There isn’t evidence or facts that explain that creationism is true. With evolution, we have proof and facts that this could be a very good possibility. Evolution goes by science. Science is known to find the truth. It goes by factual evidence whereas religious explanations go by “intelligent design.” Intelligent design is the theory that the earth and all matter in it was put there by an “intelligent entity.” Just like the theory that
