The teacher will ask the students regarding their experience being tricked/outwitted by someone.
B. Guided Questions
The Teacher will present the following questions:
1. How tricky is Sang Kancil?
2. Do you admire Sang Kancil’s wit?
3. What would you do after the incident if you’re Sang Buwaya? Why?
C. Lesson Proper
The teacher will present the story entitled “Outwitting a Crocodile” by using a call-my-number reading strategy. The students will have their own number, and as the teacher state a number, the student who owns the number will be the one reading. After reading the story, the students will now answer the guided questions.
D. Enrichment Activity
The students will now arrange the following scenes in the story according to chronological order.

In a ¼ sheet of paper, the student will explain the saying “It Might be little in your sight, it can still be a mote in the eye” V. Assignment
Read the story “Si Pilandok at si Buwaya” .
