Improving Retention and Organization Organizations often fail to maintain qualified employees, so the organization is then left under staffed and unqualified workforce, which will affect the organization productivity in the long run. Retention is n important element in relation to functioning in the organization; it also has direct relations with the manager’s skills in the work place. It is up to the organization to implement different strategies to improve programs for developing, attracting, and treating employees equally and fair, as well as professionally. In society today job satisfaction is conducive to a more positive to the workforce and to the work environment, which would keep JC’s Casino from meeting all of its current and future needs in producing a successful business. Work Motivation Theories The reinforcement theory describes the reinforcement of that affect behavior and how it rewards it. According to Skinner’s theory, “ the concepts of the reinforcement theory do not focus on the internal aspects of motivation, however, it does explain the behavior as an individuals function of their reinforcement history, basically behaviors that have brought about positive reward behaviors from past experiences. Skinner was a theorist that believed people are generally controlled by their environment and they are not exactly open for options. However, it appears that people are motivated by the internal causes, but those cause tend to be related to the environment. The theory claims that behavior is the response to the environment, but according to his theory behavior rewards in the organization should be repeated. Therefore people are more likely to perform specific behaviors that may lead to a reward (Spector, (2012). According to the reinforcement theory, JC’s Casinos employees are lacking the rewards, which explains why the employees behavior and performance continue to deteriote
