Synopsis
Different people belong to different cultures. They have different gestures, postures etc. When they meet at a single point they behave in the way their culture taught them, so there comes a clash. Throughout the report we will highlight the main problems faced by immigrants in Canada. Our objective is to let the people know how to use the power of non-verbal communication in multicultural society. We interviewed different people living in Canada for analyzing and solving the problem.
Problem
Nonverbal communications is usually understood as the process of communication through sending and receiving wordless messages.
Now the problem evolves when people belong to different cultures they have different gestures, postures etc. when people meet a person from another culture. There comes a clash. Everyone behave in the way his/her culture taught him. E.g. European Americans generally speak at a distance of 18 to 30 inches, whereas Latin Americans generally communicate at a distance of 8 to 18 inches, "The misconception occurs at an unconscious level that Latinos appear too pushy or overly
