A founding pillar and beacon for Pakistan’s poultry industry started its operations in 1964 with a single minded objective of its founder –of providing better nutrition for health and happiness of the nation. Building on years of poultry expertise and a commitment to food safety, K & N’s integrated all poultry production activities under one umbrella to ensure quality and food safety by managing and controlling all stages of production and introduced its range of branded frozen chicken products including ready-to-cook products in 2001. Today, K & N’s is the first and the only HACCP certified company in Pakistan producing chicken and chicken products. It is known allover the world that safety in frozen food products are one of the most difficult targets to achieve as the operational requirements differ with the difference in microbial contamination to be handled from region to region. An all time alert is the order of the day in poultry industry and K & N’s is the proud practitioner of this. All chicken being sold at KFC, is supplied by K & N’s and this only achievement qualifies K & N’s to become the choice of the consumers.

Quality is the single most important criterion for frozen food products and the same is reflected in the consumer’s survey when the attribute of quality has been rated as the highest among all others. With food products if quality is not acceptable and all other parameters are at the top, product is of no use as its use could be fatal for the user. K & N is identified for its quality, making it the most acceptable brand. Familiarity is also rated as high indicating objective and effective marketing /sales and advertising efforts.

Affordability has been rated after the quality and familiarity which indicates some price concerns but those who are aware of the input requirements of a frozen food industry and its sensitivity would accept it as justifiable.
