1. Introduction
Globalization – is the 'big idea ' of the late twentieth century.
The studies do not share a unique set of terms and concepts of globalisation. Generally, ‘globalisation’ is used to explain everything and its opposite, from the Roman Empire to WWII, from cosmopolitan behaviour to Alexandr Makedonsky’s conquests, and even earlier ages. It means if we do not know when globalisation began, then we are unable to understand what globalisation is. However, according to business dictionary term Globalization means the worldwide movement toward economic, financial, trade, and communications integration.
Globalization implies the opening of local and nationalistic perspectives to a broader outlook of an interconnected and interdependent world with free transfer of capital, goods, and services across national frontiers. However, it does not include unhindered movement of labor and, as suggested by some economists, may hurt smaller or fragile economies if applied indiscriminately.
In my view the term means ‘the process by which a company, etc, expands to operate internationally’. For my current assignment I chose very interesting topic - “Globalization and Beauty”. This topic provides information about beauty industry and explore the impact of globalization
