What does someone do to inspire you? To me, inspiration is the process of instilling faith in someone to motivate him or her to do something. An inspiration is something someone who has achieved a great number of goals. Many people do things simply out of the kindness in their heart, and do not realize they are inspiring others around them. My list could goes on and on, but what I am trying to get at is even though Randy Pausch is making a point about how his illness inspired him to live his childhood dreams; the specific points he is making is even though we have brick walls, those dreams can be achieved.
To begin with, if you believe in something great, you can achieve something great.” Katy Perry: Part of Me. Ms. Perry had dreams to be a super star and without the inspiration of friends, coworkers, and family she would not have achieve them. We all have those inspirations without realizing it. That is why it is important to stay focus on what your dreams are and how you will achieve them. Soon after, I realized one day and after working nine years as a correctional officer, I wanted more out of life than just babysitting adult men for the rest of my life. Then a miracle happened. I gave birth to the most beautiful baby boy.
He inspired me to be the best mom, father and provider. Right after he was a year old, I started taking courses online and working full-time. Then four years later I came across the first brick wall. The brick of walls as Randy Pausch’s states: “Are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people.” This brick wall was having a second child but that did not stop me from being inspired to achieve my goals. I’m inspired by things I face and work through in my daily life.
