Topic: Imagery, Blood and Darkness.
Thesis: I believe that blood and darkness is shown through imagery many times throughout the play Macbeth. Subtopics: Blood is a reacurring image from the beginning of the play. Darkness is used many times, also having to do with evil and the bad things going on. Body Paragraph: Subtopic Statement- In the play Macbeth, Blood Imagery is used effectively to create evil and a guilty atmosphere. Quote: Come, you spirits That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here, And fill me, from the crown to the toe, top-fill Of direst cruelty! Make thick my blood, Stop up th' access and passage of nature Shake my fell purpose, nor keep peace between Th' effect and it!
