My Favorite Place: Las Vegas
In the past summer vacation, my friend and I planned a trip to visit the densely
populated city in Nevada, Las Vegas. We decided to visit there because both of us
desired to have an enjoyable holiday and wonderful memories before the summer
vacation is finished. Two weeks before the trip, we already prepared everything such as
booked airline tickets, reserved the hotel that we stayed and found out some researched
about the restaurants, entertainment, shopping and activities in Las Vegas. We realized
that the weather in Las Vegas is much hotter than San Francisco; however, we decided to
take pleasure under the bright sunshine. It took the plane not much time to finish its
flight between San Francisco and Las Vegas, just about an hour and a half. I choose Las
Vegas as my favorite place just because of the dazzling street which makes me to forget
all about going home.
We arrived McCarran International Airport at 7:30 on the morning. When I got
off the plane, I saw gambling already around us and I recognized I entered a gambling
world. After I left the airport terminal, I felt the heating power was flowing inside my
body; therefore, I took off my jacket immediately and let my skin absorbed the sun
shining directly. The first thing we needed to do after we left the airport terminal was
rented a car and drove around to take a look at the city. The weather was much hotter
than I expected; nevertheless, I still enjoyed the bright sunshine because that was the

exactly weather I expected to see on July. The beautiful blue sky with no clouds made
me to stop the step to look up the sky and to listen the sound of the cicada. Even though
my friend and I sweated, we were still exciting about our trip.
