Assignment:
1.) Research the internet and find data related to the salary range and the employment prospects for your chosen field of engineering. Find jobs that would require a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, an associate degree or a certificate. Find information for the current year and for ten years from now. Also contrast your field’s information with that of other fields to see how your figures stack up.
2.) Create a table in EXCEL which displays all the information found in step one. It should contain the data for your chosen field (examples of Bachelors and Associate educational requirements).
3.) From the table create a chart which visually displays the information. You can use bar charts, pie charts; anything as long as it visually describes the information determined in step one and shown in step 2.
4.) Submit the EXCEL spreadsheet as an assignment in Blackboard Assignments.

Part One – research job information
Go to as many sources as you can find which lists the Occupation Information. Select Architecture and Engineering or Computer and Mathematical or Production.
Part Two – create a spreadsheet of data found for your field and comparison fields.
1.) Create a EXCEL spreadsheet that looks like the one shown below. Copy the SOC (Standard Occupation Classification) Code, Occupation , Employment numbers for 200X and 20XX into your spreadsheet.
a. Create columns for the Michigan Employment Numbers and the US Employment Numbers.
b. Copy the Employment numbers from the website for your Engineering field of choice into the appropriate column.
c. Create a set of columns for the Salary rates (hourly and yearly) for both Mich and the US.
