Strength : Strength is the ability of the muscles to overcome resistance .

A certain level of strength is also essential for a common man Strength can be divided into two parts: a ) Dynamic Strength (b) Static Strength. The methods of strength development are a) Isometric, b) Isotonic and c) Iso- kinetic exercises.

Speed: Speed may be defined as the ability or capacity of the individual to perform a movement of the same pattern as faster rate. However different sports skills require different types of fast movement and quick reactions. Most probably speed depends on heredity factor, specifically on the type of muscle fibers.
