Award of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

Date of Submission ………………………………………….

ABSTRACT
This document is a proposal for the “Online Notice Board System” as a major project for my partial fulfilment of the course of Bachelors in Information Technology.
The system will be a client-server model and also web-based to facilitate easy access to all clients regard less of where they are and also of the machines they are using. I will also try to intergrate the system from the computer desktop program into a mobile application app such as Android and Windows mobile.

CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION
A noticeboard is a wooden or even metal boards where people can leave public messages,
e.g advertise things to buy or sell, events or even memos. My aim in this project is to ease and make information dissemination much easier in a paperless institution such as Taita
Taveta University College. I intend to focus on Taita Taveta University College whereby the software will majorly be used for Administration purposes. It is intended to support the existing method by which notices and memos are posted in the University’s environment.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Many University and instituitions, particulalrly TTUC rely on the wooden noticeboard hanging on a wall to display announcement, i.e at the library, outside each

Will Bury, an enterprising inventor, is convinced that soon everyone will be reading or listening to everything digitally, including books that have been mostly available in hard copy. He knows that there are books on CD, but these are relatively expensive and have been recorded using human readers. He also knows that there is technology that can transform the printed word into audio, but the sound is somewhat inhuman. Will plans on speeding up the transformation with a proprietary technology he has developed and patented. This technology takes the printed word for text materials and creates a file with the option of reading it digitally or listening to it with a realistic synthetic voice. Will knows that he has free access to books no longer under copyright protection, and he figures he can pay a royalty fee of $5 per title for copyrighted books that will greatly expand his catalog. So far, he has limited himself to English-language books but is working on a language translation option as well.…

With the Simulation software, it is relatively easy to change the features or price point of a product and have the simulation software predict the market share that the product would attain in the market. This I hope to achieve by using the computer to emulate a real world situation. It is time based, and takes into account all the resources and constraints involved, as well as the way these things interacts with each other as time passes. Simulation also builds in the randomness that would be seen in real life. For instance, it doesn’t always take exactly 5-minutes for a customer to be served and a customer don’t always arrive every 15-minutes. This means that the simulation really can match reality, so when one make changes to the simulation; it will demonstrate exactly how the system would behave in real life.…

In this essay, I have decided to touch on a very eye opening subject of domestic violence and the effects. I got the idea from the story, “The Day It Happened” by Rosario Morales, and the situation involving the characters Ramon and Josie. This is a real and everyday issue that should people should be more educated on. I have done some research on all aspects of domestic violence and the effects of the many possible victims in a family. I am interested in finding out why the victims become victims, psychological effects on a all possible household members, and where perpetrators come from.…

The archeological and African origins related to the study of human origins were focused primary on the prehistory of Africa from archaeological perspective. However the Africans had their own problems about the origins of humans but the effect of scientific and universally accepted evidence emphasis will be place on archeological interpretations some people believe that the earliest humans had a relationship with the apes, chimpanzee and gorilla that were found in central Africa. In Africa and the Middle East there was Homo sapiens; in Asia, Homo erectus and in Europe by 30,000 years ago this taxonomic diversity vanished and humans everywhere had evolved into the anatomically and behaviorally modern form. Many say that two recent anthropological studies support the theory that modern humans emerged from both African and regional sources but the debate is far from over. Decreasing levels of human genetic diversity have been found at increasing distance from Africa as a consequence of human expansion out of Africa but the earliest fossils that were found in Africa had a primate of a sub-Saharan Africa. Dubious had found so many different fossil not known where they could be from or if they a human or an apes from many years ago. Historical archaeology is the study of cultures that existed and may still during the period of recorded history several thousands of years in parts of the Old World, but only several hundred years in the Americas.…

At Eastern Connecticut State University, Non-athlete students should have the right to use the gym whenever they choose to. Being restricted to something that your money is going towards isn’t right. Perhaps building another gym or creating extra space inside and making it a larger gym can be good for non-athlete students. Not only will it be a good improvement for students but it will also create a happier environment around campus. One side of the gym can be for student athletes and the other can be for non-student athletes.…
