The Feature of Salvation in this Parable
The Lost Sheep
Matthew 18:12-14

Speaking to a group of tax collectors, "sinners", Pharisees, and teachers of the law, Jesus asks them to imagine that they had a hundred sheep and one of them strayed. A shepherd would leave the ninety-nine sheep and search for the lost one until he found it. Then he would put it on his shoulders with joy, take it home, and tell his friends and neighbors to rejoice with him, because he had found his lost sheep.
For me the symbol in the parable that I can compare my self is the lost sheep. In life we sometimes we got lost in direction, we do things that are against the will of the Father so for me the lost sheep represents repentances and going back to the right way. This parable taught me that God wants all His children to be saved. If one has wandered from His path, He's going to try to bring Him back. Heaven rejoices every time a sinner repents. God loves all His children and He wants all of us to inherit the kingdom of Heaven.
Coming back to God side is the image of salvation that was brought in the story and when hat they comes God will rejoice in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who do not need to repent.
