A sale refers to the exchange of product or services for an amount of money or its equivalent while making Inventory in a business is a total amount of goods and the act of counting them. Inventory is merchandise in-stock and on hand, also known as stock. Inventory is basically the total amount of goods and materials held in stock by a factory, store and other business. In its simplest sense it can be done manually by counting at the end of each day. In this way it is possible to keep a record of the goods coming in to the business and goods being sold. A company owner must know the precise number of items in their storage areas in order to place orders and control losses. Computerizing both Sales and Inventory System will make an easier and faster transaction with the customers as well as monitoring the stocks of the products.
