Specific Purpose:To inform my audience on how serious Traumatic Brain Injuries are.
Central Idea:To tell my listeners about a Traumatic Brain Injury that I experienced on 04/24/2012.
Introduction
I am pretty sure every one has hit their head before and just rubbed it and continued what ever they were doing.
Depending on how hard the impact is, this can result in a Traumatic Brain Injuries that’s very serious and will be a lot of rehabilitation.
Body
Traumatic Brain Injuries occur when the brain is injured due to excessive force.
The most common cause of T.B.I are auto accidents, sports, and other forms of accidents that cause stress on the brain.
The most common scenarios that occur are objects hitting the head at high speed.
Common symptoms of a Traumatic Brain Injuries usually include headaches that never go away, nausea, dizziness, and blurred vision.
Operating a 2006 Pontiac grand prix my control wheel arm went bad causing me to go head in into a pole.
This auto accident caused me to have multiple head injuries.
I dealt with bleeding on the brain.
This accident caused the brain to move around because the impact was so intense.
Dealing with a T.B.I is very time consuming and it took a total of ten months for me to coupe with.
Therapy is one of the hardest things I had to deal with because had to see a speech therapist, occupational therapist, and a physical therapist, which was very challenging.
Learning how to talk, write, and walk, was very challenging because this was new to me.
Memory and talking is an issue I continue to deal with it but get easier with time.
Introduction
Everyone has hit head either playing a sport or playing round just remember to not ignore it could be serious.
Depending how hard the impact of the force tis may result in a traumatic brain injury.
