Many people enjoy different times of the year. It may be Spring, Winter, January, or even February. It is the most wonderful time of the year when its summer, because its vacation time, you spend time with friends and the temperature is just right for a number of activities. In fact, summer is the most wonderful time of the year because its vacation time. Summer is the longest break you get from school.75% of kids say that summer is wonderful because they get to stay out late and go out of town. I recall a time when my cousin mentioned that summer is best time of the year because it is the only time of the year she gets to go out of town and have a real vacation that isn’t two weeks long. In my opinion vacations are a good time to get away from stressful things like school. Of course summer is the most wonderful time of the year for vacation time. Additionally, summer is the most wonderful time of the year because you also get to spend time with friends. Since summer is when you get out of school, you get to have fun with friends. You can’t have fun with friends in school because school is about getting an education. Unless any one from your family is a teacher they have to work during the summer. During this time you have extreme fun with friends. For instance, it’s wonderful to spend time with your friends in the summer because during any other break you’re expected to be with your family. In my opinion summer is the perfect time to spend you break with friends. Without a doubt, summer is the most wonderful time of the year to spend time with family. Equally important, the most wonderful time of the year is summer since the temperature is right for a lot of outdoor activities. The temperature in the summer can be used for football, swimming, soccer, water parks, lemonade stands and basketball. “All of these things are best enjoyed” says Dr. Aaron from the weather and outdoor activities association. For example you rarely see people swimming during winter, playing soccer during fall, or people going to water parks during spring. In my opinion summer is best for all the outdoor activities it provides. I can honestly say summer is the most wonderful time of the year because of its temperature and outdoor activities provided. In summation, people enjoy different times of the year. But the most wonderful time of the year is summer because its vacation time, you spend time with friends, and the temperature is just right for activities.

Group Work

Everyone likes to do their work differently. Whether it’s working independently or working in groups. The principal at my school does not agree with having students work in groups to do all their school work. Students should work in groups to do all their schools work because it helps learn to cooperate with others, students will be independent from the teacher and it allows students to complete work faster. To start off with, students should work in groups since it helps them learn to cooperate with others. Learning to work well with others is going to appear in life when students get older. Knowing how to communicate with others without arguing is something students can practice when working in groups. Ms. Johnson from Dillard high school says that “students must work in groups so they can know how to have patience with others and listen to others opinion.” Cooperating with others is an important strategy that students are going to have to know so why not start with having them do group work. In my opinion, students should work in groups so that they will be skilled in working with others, and listening to others opinion; having an open mind. Certainly, students should work in groups to do all their school work since it is an important necessity to learn how to cooperate with others. Not to mention, students should be able to work in groups because it helps students to become independent from the teacher. (Meaning that the students won’t always call the teacher asking for help). If students are working in groups they can easily ask each other for help. Teachers will get more work done, not having to answer all the questions the students have. Eventually the kids will get use to asking each other for help that they will learn each others skills. Then they will share how they solve the problem differently which will be a great way to learn different styles. In my opinion if students work together and become independent of the teacher, then the teacher will be able to get a lot of work done. Indeed students should be able to work in groups so they don’t always have to ask the teacher for help. In either case, having students work in groups to do school work is a great idea because it allows students to complete work faster. Saving time will allow teacher to do more activities with students. Every individual person will work on a little bit of the project. As grandpa would always say “two minds work better than one”. What will be the risk of not letting students work in groups. In life you don’t have forever to do things. Your time is limited. In my opinion students should work in groups so that can finish work faster and get on with the learning process. Of course, students should be able to work in groups to do all their school work so that they can complete their work faster and save valuable time. To sum it up, students should be aloud to work in groups. Although working independently is also good working in groups will teach students to cooperate well with others, help students become independent from teacher, and it allows students to complete work faster. As one can see working in groups is a good thing.

TV You want to watch that new episode but you have to finish your homework right? Wondering why your grades are slowly but surely slipping. The principal of my school suggest that watching TV causes students grades to drop. TV causes students grades to drop because they put it as their first priority and may get negatively influenced. In fact, watching TV can lead to students putting it as their first priority. They would rush on their homework causing their grade to drop, just to watch that new episode that comes on at 4:30.they then tend to make it habit of watching TV first, then starting homework afterward. For instance my friend use to watch TV all day and tell her parents she did her homework. When she got to school in the morning she would rush and do her homework. In my opinion her grades compared to mine (someone who doesn’t watch TV) grade was horrible. Obviously TV causes your grade to drop because students but it as their first priority. For the most part TV also causes students grades to drop because they get negatively influenced by what they watch. Now and days on TV they have the cartoons skipping class and cheating off other students tests. Those cartoon characters inspire them to act the same way. My auntie would always say monkey say monkey do you act just like that fool. 80% of students are influenced by TV shows negatively. The media thinks their doing a good job just by calling the show adult swim and playing it at ten at night. Little do they know that their encouraging students to stay up late wasting valuable time watching TV instead of doing extra practice for that test tomorrow. You’ll think they would try to bring up their grades. In my opinion lots of kids are getting influenced by negative things they watch. They even start to say what the TV show says. In reality TV causes students grades to drop because its influences kids negatively.
Given these facts, students should not be able to watch TV. Their grades are dropping because they put TV as their first priority, and get badly influenced.
