Let us take for example the independence struggle of two countries – Libya and India . while the people of India were patient in their freedom struggle against the british, same was not the case with Libya. In India , mahatma Gandhi advocated the use of peace as a weapon against the british rule and obtained freedom through non violent means. The result was that a new india was able to emerge which was free from any bloodshed.
In Libya, people demanded freedom through violent means and there was so much bloodshed that now, Libya is not able to come out of it and create a peaceful environment for its citizens to live in.
So, in both the cases, the people tried to obtain freedom but what the Libyan rebels did against their ruler cannot be justified. It was wrong of them to take his life as God has not given anyone authority to do so. No amount of justification can be given –whether it be in the name of freedom , for his brutal death. The deed which they did was wrong and they cannot justify it. So, we see that there is only one right way to do a right thing , as in the case of india and “there is no right way to do a wrong thing” as seen in the case of Libya. The future generations of Libya will always be haunted by the fact that their freedom started with the death of
