Duties
In a nutshell a Hospital
Porter supports patients by helping them to move around the hospital - for example, from a ward to an x-ray department. A Porter would help patients into wheelchairs or onto trolleys.
A Porter would also take them to appointments and bring them back to their ward. Being a porter is a very varied roll and depending on the healthcare organization they work in, and it’s own type and service facility, the roll can be both demanding, but also extremely varied and rewarding.
