“WHY COLLEGE EDUCATION IS IMPORTANT TO ME” Is college education necessary? I have had many job that prove to be “endless”. Any job that I been fascinated with requires some form of higher education. After years and years of just working to survive, I have come to the conclusion that it is time to educate myself on business, how they operate, strive, and how to make one succeed. I was once a business owner myself and learned very fast that I did not have the correct knowledge of how to operate a successful business.
Growing up I had no one to push me to strive for education. I barely squeaked by in high school. One of my best friend’s father had a master’s degree in computer science. I distinctively remember him telling me many times that “no matter what education will go to the grave with you”. I never understood what he meant until recently, but he was more than right. We still stay in contact to this day.
My family is a huge supporter to me as an education is very important to me to be a model to my two beautiful daughters. Growing up as a young adult, if I had parents to show me first-hand how important and special an education is, it would have saved me many years of hard intensive labor jobs to get nowhere. I should have started college right out of high school. With fresh knowledge of what I learned as a young adult.
College education is not only important to me. It’s not just a piece of paper or a paragraph on my resume; it is 100% pure knowledge. The main reason I am going to school is so I can reopen another business to ultimately succeed and strive! CEO of business didn’t get there by begging the owner for a job; they are well educated, smart, people that have strived for excellence.
In the end, the collage experience is my goal right now. Not only is it necessary to succeed for myself, but also important to teach my young family the importance of higher education. Also I need this knowledge to

If you owned and ran a lemonade stand on a popular block, going back to school would be able to teach you have to manage your money (economics), improve your lemonade formula (culinary and/or chemistry) and increase your client base (marketing). It can also give you the opportunity to network with other business owners who are trying to grow their clientele, just like you.…

To begin on this journey and fully understand why college education is important to me, I must start in my childhood. My mother always enforced the importance of good grades and daily school attendance. As a child I was told about the negative effects that not finishing high school would have on my life. I was raised by a single mother that was a successful beautician. I guess with all the success that she had didn’t give me the impression that I needed a college education. I never imagined that college credits or a degree would keep me from reaching my dreams. Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs only to the people who prepare for it today.
