The French and Indian War was a victorious war (for the British) in which we defeated the French to gain the Ohio River Valley. Having the Ohio River Valley in our possession is essential because it was an idea place for fur trade. My personal motivation for trying my best in the war was Benjamin Franklin’s “Join or Die” political cartoon.
