I am writing you to nominate President Ronald Reagan for your Person of the Decade award. He was the 40th President of the United States‚ serving two terms in office. I think he was an excellent President helping to make great strides against communism during his Presidency. He was definitely commendable in his 1987 West Berlin speech‚ “Mr. Gorbachev‚ tear down this wall”. It had stood as a symbol of the divisiveness between Communism and Democratic freedom there between East and West Germany.
