    Zaroff just wants game. My final reason Zaroff is cruel is he did not even care that one of his dogs died. Conelle pg 57 “ You’ve done well‚ Rainsford…Thank you for the most amusing evening.” You can tell from that short paragraph that Rainsford does not even mind that one of his best dogs died.
