Concert Reflection On Sunday‚ April 17th‚ I attended a concert at Franklin & Marshall College. The concert featured members of the Lancaster symphony chorus and orchestra. Overall‚ the choirs combined with the orchestra‚ presented a full‚ beautiful sound. Their consonants were crisp‚ they used crescendos and decrescendos skillfully‚ and their voice parts were balanced. First‚ the choirs and orchestra combined performed Beethoven’s “Mass in C”. This section of the concert featured four soloists

Jonathan Edwards and Benjamin Franklin are two major figures in history. Edwards was a very religious Puritan minister‚ and Benjamin Franklin was the opposite; a diplomat‚ inventor‚ negotiator‚ merchant along with many other qualities. Each man had goals in their life. Though the reasons for the goals may be different‚ they both were very serious about accomplishing them. The goals that each man had in life were far from similar. Edwards and Franklin both had different writing styles in their works and some similar ones. They both wanted what was best for them and their fellow man. The one difference was that Edward related all of his writings to the Bible and it seemed like you were reading it. When he was just a child he would go out of his way to learn from different prints and would copy and turn the piece into his own words. Day and night‚ he would practice. I remember as a child myself I would practice my drawing skills. Franklin’s passion

11th‚ 1762‚ Benjamin Franklin wrote a captivating letter to Jared Ingersoll. The letter‚ dubbed “I Look’d Round for God’s Judgments‚” attempts to trivialize a certain tenet of the Connecticut Religion‚ namely God’s Wrath. Although Franklin may seek a greater understanding in regard to Mr. Ingersoll’s religion‚ he undoubtedly employs condescension throughout the work. After laying out Mr. Franklin’s argument‚ I contend that he fails to completely persuade me. Benjamin Franklin begins his argument by
