Flood light Box Cricket at PWC The Panthaky Baug Welfare Center (PWC) flagged off their first ever floodlight Box Cricket Tournament at the colony grounds on 26th and 27th of October 2013. The event saw an encouraging participation of 16 teams from various parsi groups across Mumbai‚ who were cheered from the stands by enthusiastic spectators bearing the scorching October heat along with the players. The colonies of Jamestown and Plymouth were among the first to develop in the New World. The original settlers of Jamestown sailed into the Chesapeake Bay and up a river‚ which they named the James. The settlers of Plymouth were originally bound for the Hudson area in New York‚ but due to the upcoming winter were forced to stay in an area around Cape Cod.
