    This book by Jimmy Carter is about a boy named Jeremy‚ who is disabled and befriends a monster that comes out of the ocean called a Snoogle-Fleejer. This boy is left out and made fun of because of his crutches‚ so he reads on the beach‚ while the other kids play.
