I was glad to have Holly Green & Christine Kapral as guest speakers in our class on Tuesday. I felt what they had to share was great for reconnecting what we have been discussing in class (such as the causes of poverty‚ the working poor‚ or raising children in poverty) using firsthand experience as examples. I enjoyed seeing how much effort they both put into the presentation‚ I would have given them my attention regardless but it is nice to have the extra materials and visual elements in a presentation
