Miguel Soto-Escobar is a 5 year old Hispanic male who lives with his mom and dad‚ two siblings‚ and grandmother. He has a speech impairment along with a language barrier. His family is struggling financially which is putting some of that stress on Miguel. In this case study‚ I will explain the two prevalent needs in the emotional and cognitive areas using developmental theories‚ along with how his family‚ society‚ and culture has had a predominant factor that has impacted Miguel’s development.
