Microbiologists are scientists that focus on organisms that can sometimes cause infection. They study bacteria‚ fungi and viruses. They try and diagnose infections so that they can identify and characterise organisms. They have a big effect on the world as without them‚ we would have no cure for illnesses. A skill that a microbiologist requires is to be able to create a sample using one hand as this is more efficient and also vastly more productive than performing the procedure without this skill.
