In this story‚ there are so many similes‚ however one that really stood out was the one quoted above. As I continue to go on with the story it amazes me how Sandra Cisneros‚ structures these sentences to make the readers more captivated. Reading this story once or just skimming through it‚ there would be no way to fully understand the deep meaning she is trying to reveal.
