Jay Gatsby‚ also known as Gatsby‚ is one of the most important characters in the story and shows many different personality and character traits from anyone else. He was a flat character. Gatsby did not change much from the moment Nick met him till the day he fell over dead in his own pool. He was very wealthy and everyone in the story seems to know how he became so wealthy in a different way.
